Our team is definitely up and running.  This weekend we had over 125 students competing in Policy, LD, Congress, Speech and PF.  A special thanks to Anna Hom (Samantha's mom) for accompanying the trip to Byram Hills.  Anna is a licensed DOE teacher and has been, and will be a great asset to the team.  Great results at Byram with many debaters placing and receiving half qualifications for States!  

We had 17 parents judging at Regis on Saturday and 15 parents observing/training to judging in the future.  That's a team record!  Lots of awards this weekend including the 1st place Sweepstakes Team Championship at the CFL, at Regis.  Champions in Congress, Varsity & JV Oral Interpretation and finalists in nearly every other category!

Welcome onboard to our new students and parents.  Next up... Hendrick Hudson and Regis MDL's for debate and Fordham Prep in speech.

PLEASE do not forget to bring in forms and dues.  No student can travel to Villiger or future away tournaments without an updated medical form, submitted in a timely fashion.  Moreover, it is critical that each team member stays diligent with regards to bringing in the letters to send, asking for donations.  I am trying to plan our next few tournaments - but I need a good idea of the budget that I am working with.
